I've had EC now for 3 years. I have all the symptoms: peeling, buildup, inflammation, white line when wet. However my case has never sounded very similar to others who have large crusts that build up compared to me who has a thin layer of build up. I assumed it was allergy related as every time I eat a large meal my lips will become very red, swollen and inflamed. However I disregarded the allergy idea when I went for allergy testing around 2 years ago and no conclusions were made... What also led me to belive it wasn't allergy related was the fact that my lips would swell after every meal... No matter what meal I ate.... So say for example my allergy was gluten, I don't have gluten every meal so why would they swell and not change in a whole 3 years. My symptoms never changed, never got better, never got worse, stayed the same.
I just performed a Liver Flush for the first time yesterday and when I was drinking the combination liquid of squeezed lemons and olive oil my lips swelled up like I never saw them swell before. My lips never swell after a drink so I was shocked. I was thinking it could be irritation but I used a straw so it didn't even touch my lips, so I doubt it. This makes me think I have some sort of intolerance to citrus or olive oil/ oils. What do you suggest I do from here? What direction shall I take?
