Die off is not very likely to be caused by antifungals... If anything, antifungals should help with die-off symptoms... unless it is too drastic.
Die off is all about your organism healing so fast that your metabolism cannot cope (often enough due to a deficiency in an essential mineral or antioxydant).
The standard reaction, when using any treatment is to look at the dosage and to start with half of it or worst with full dosage all at once. It is ADVISABLE to allow time for your body to adjust and if it recommends 3 a day. Start with one, for a few days and slowly increase, this will help your metabolism cope with the change and thus, help avoid die off.
Common yeast die-off symptoms, some individuals may develop one or several of these concurrently
Fatigue, brain fog, gastro-intestinal distress such as nausea, gas, bloating, diarrhea or constipation, low grade fever, headache, sore throat, body itch, muscle and / or joint soreness or pain, feeling as if coming down with a flu.
Be aware that contrary to popularly held misconception, yeast die-off reactions are not a sign that yeast treatment is ideally succeeding. It is an indication that yeast cells are dying, usually in large numbers, and is more of an indicator of the system's toxic overload. More poisons are being released than the body can adequately cope with at one time. In most cases, yeast die-off is a sign that the system's eliminatory pathways are overburdened or as oftentimes happens, blocked, as in constipation and liver stress.
When properly undertaken (anti oxydants and appropriate treatment), treatment for yeast related health problems does not lead to yeast die-off reactions.
THIS IS WHY IT IS GENERALLY RECOMMENDED TO slow down ON ANY TREATMENT YOU ARE CURRENTLY HAVING, so as to deal with die off.
Strategies for Dealing With Yeast Die-Off Reactions
§ Reduce your intake of antifungal remedies temporarily. Some individuals may have to discontinue altogether for a few days.
§ More water should be consumed, a glass of warm or hot water every forty-five minutes, throughout the day.
§ It is imperative to rest when experiencing yeast die-off reactions, they will otherwise worsen in severity. Get to sleep as early as possible.
§ Measures must be taken to neutralize toxins: antioxydants: Vitamin A, C, E, lemon juice (a drop in every glass of water.
§ For those with access to a sauna, begin slowly (20 minutes per session) scrub all skin surfaces (when the skin is dry) with a stiff brush from extremities toward the heart (fantastic first thing in the morning, it stimulates your blood circulation in the skin capillaries)it works wonder, or else the steam room or the detox bath ( Epsom Salt or Sea Salt in a very warm half filled bath.... get in and add some more hot water until you can't bare it any warmer. Relax and sweat it out (wrap your self in a huge towel and go lie down). Sweating allows toxins to come out through the skin
§ If you're constipated, or only eliminating once daily: try some of the following ideas: enemas (first session vinegar and right after probiotic enemas work MARVEL), add oil to your diet a spoonful of extra virgin oil with every meal. 2/3 glasse of water first thing in the morning (ALWAYS REMEMBER= COLD GOES RIGHT THROUGH THE BOWELS/ WARM STICKS TO THE STOMACH), add psyllium shakes in between meals.
Fatigue: vit B (3-6-12)
brain fog: Sauna, steam room, detox bath
gastro-intestinal distress such as nausea: drink more
gas: CHEW, chew and chew, abdominal exercises, strict diet, enemas
