Re: Why is my hair so dry and brittle?

Right here goes:

Only Acne treatment I took was over the counter topicals but that was while ago, never taken Antibiotics or pills.
Used to bleach my hair myself every 8 weeks or so from ages of 18-21 ish. Im now 24 and natural redhead.Dont use straighteners, hair drier or waxs,gels,hair spray.I have tried shampoos/conditioners with and without SLS but neither made much difference.Currently using products from 'Lush' but even these have SLS in them.Dont know if they have silicone in them. My nails only ever grow to certain length then snap off or I cut them because I dont like long nails. LOL
I am very constipated if this has a connection and can go days without going at all. Acne is on chin and around mouth and on cheeks mainly.Doesnt seem to get any better. I think I have hormonal probs aswell.Even though they came back clear and thyroid was fine, have been trying for baby for 4 years or so now to no avail.God, things can't get any worse surely? LOL
