Hi. Im new here. I just finished getting all Amalgam out last week. My insurance paid for ALL of it and it cost just under $1000 for 8 teeth (2 of which were LOADED with deep Amalgam fillings) which is a good deal here in the USA. I wouldnt bother telling your friends anything further. Just do what YOU know you have to do. They are quite obviously uneducated on the subject or they wouldnt think you are wacky.
