What you seem to be overlooking is that the CURE for many of opiate addiction would be to be able to go in and FIX the cause of the pain!!! Find a way to make my back the way it was before it got broken and I wouldn't have a need for methadone...but until that cure is found,I have found something that enables me to have a normal life!
