Re: Narcolepsy

I have experienced excessive sleepiness for 20 or more years and my dr insists on treating me with anti-depressants.
I get a minimum or 8 hours of sleep at night and nap at least 2 hours during the day.
Sometimes when I wake up I don't know where I am, what day it is or if it's morning or evening. It scares me, because I think I'm late for work or late for..whatever.
Sometimes when I initially wake up I feel like I'm paralized...more like extremely weak, like I've been drained of blood. Sorry, can't explain it any better.
Would like to correspond with someone that can relate to my frustrating experiences.
It affects my daily life, because I don't want to commit to anything, as I have no energy.
I feel exhaused all the time. HELP
