Re: Xanthelasma and high cholesterol

Since I posted that message above, my spots have gotten even smaller. I know it's taking longer than I would like, but heck surgery is not an option for me either - I could probably afford it but no way I am doing it! What I did - The Master Cleanse for 15 days, and then after that I became raw, that is to say, I started eating only uncooked fruits, vegs, nuts, seeds. There's a raw forum here too ;)

Also important, since cholesterol is formed and stored in the gall bladder/liver, is to start doing liver flushes, which cleanse those organs of cholesterol and cholesterol stones, and just coincidentally, there is also a Liver Flush Forum here! I honestly do not know what I would do without this place. So I have done 2 Liver Flushes so far, and my xanthelasma spots are smaller and flatter...still there, but on an almost daily basis now I can feel tingling in them, and they keep getting smaller. I have no doubt that they will disappear eventually - it might take another master cleanse to do it, and I am planning that soon. I don't mind if it takes 6 months to get rid of them, because the entire process is so enlightening and so good for me! The Master Cleanse eliminates toxins from your body and goes to work cleansing your body of unwanted deposits, and the xanthelasma definitely qualifies.

I know what you mean about being disheartened about your looks, as I had invested umpteen dollars in sunglasses last year ;)

So to sum it up - I've done one Master Cleanse, have been raw since, and have done 2 liver flushes. The spots are still there but are MUCH smaller than before - one is just a speck. I'll continue to do liver flushes, and to do cleanses.
