I ended a relationship one year ago. I do long for a spiritual companionship, but that's very hard to find. I don't really want to get involved with someone unless I truly feel connected AND she's someone I'm willing to marry one day (without the 2nd condition, I think pure friendship would be more appropriate). Does this equate to being emotionally dried up? I don't know. Maybe .

Theoretically, we're supposed to find happiness within. As some wise person said this:

"As helpful as marriage relationships may be in the earth, beyond this material domain, it is our destiny to find wholeness within our own souls."

But this is very hard to achieve....
