The more I think about it...

The things Lapis and Wrenn have been posting have been to expose a so-called "guru". Whether they have other motived in this or not, only they can know for sure. But, there are also many other instances of this kind of thing on Curezone... hell, there are even FORUMS dedicated to information like this about people.... Kevin Trudeau , Sylvia Browne, etc.

If those Yogi Bhajan posts are not to be allowed, then all of those forums about specific "debatable" figures, should also not be allowed. Or from the other direction, if such forums and blog posts about those other people are allowed, then why not about Yogi Bhajan?

If I happen to really like someone, say Sylvia Browne, and I get all her books and really believe in what she says, and then I come across the Sylvia Browne debate forum, or someone's blog entries posting questionable information about her, would it then be right for me to get all riled up and target the people posting that information? If I were to get riled up and started going after another member just because they posted questionable material about Sylvia Browne, that I happen to disagree with, wouldn't I be the one more at fault?

In essence, what I'm trying to say, is this...

9th knows the rules. She knows not to go targetting and naming other members in her blogs and "attacking" them (although she may try to do it subtly through "poetry" or whatever else). She's been warned about it repeatedly, and continues to do it. I have no personal preference on whether she should be banned or not, but if there are rules regarding this kind of conduct, then they should be adhered to, no?

I don't see anything wrong with the Yogi Bhajan information in and of itself, although what "inspired" those things to be posted may not have been the best intentions, but really I don't know. Lapis and Wrenn could have either A) been wanting to try to show 9th that her "beloved guru" isn't that great of a character, to try to actually help her see that, or B) to just try and rile her up. Regardless of the underlying intent, there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with the material itself, if other such material is allowed (with even dedicated forums) on the rest of the site.

I try and remain as unbiased as possible in stuff like this, but it does seem like 9th is more at fault here.... even if the Yogi Bhajan posts were intended as "bait" (again, I don't know either way), it doesn't mean 9th should bite...

But none of thise stuff should have been even allowed to escalate in the first place! ... unless of course you want to change the name of the site to DramaZone?
