separated shoulder and chiro?

I have had a separated shoulder for two weeks now ,went to the hospital last week to have it check out because the pain was getting worse. they put me in a sling and gave me pills.... well the sling was on wrong and caused more pain and the pills are gone.My faith in conventional doctors is the same.(not impressed)
has anyone had luck with a separated shoulder and a chiropractor??
