I think you would loose. We did test it under load on a spectrum analyzer. It did have a front curve under load,(like all the others except one built with a special titerium resistor to bring down the power) but the harmonics held up really well. I recall it had slightly higher peaks that a $120 unite (built buy the analyzer owner.)
The reason for the special modification was to mantain the front curvature and preserve the harmonics as I understand it. However this may not be nessesary since they now can see with the analyzer the harmonics hold up.
I am not all that big of an expert on zappers,and mainly observed someone who was. I also probalbly misspelled the resistor but the information on how to build one that won't get the rounding under load can be found on royalrife.com . Track down zappers info.
Anyhow I think thay all will curve under load, but at this point it may not be a fatal flaw as far as I understand, If the harmonics do not drop off.
The analizer operator was impressed and stated that it was worth every penny and then some. Hope this helped straighen the question out.
