the atkins/fasting plan. any questions?
ok so i am now almost finished with my atkins book.
i am really feeling alot more at ease after reading it.
he actually talked about fasting! and ketosis! and a ton of other things like meds that make you gain....oh man there is so much info in the book i have to take a second to pause every once in awhile because it it so jam packed. at the end of every section he has simplified summary tips. he footnotes all the facts on his claims. he stressed the importance of veggies in your diet and staying away from processed meats. he talks about cholesterol, protien, special problems that would make the atkins plan not right for you. he stresses the importance of fiber and healthy meat choices.
there are def. ways to do atkins wrong. and i think its not reading the book to get the full info on doing it right and instead listening to passed down information that has become mutated to something more harmful than helpful.
so if anyone has any questions on the atkins....ask me and i will get the info out of my book for you. i do think that with atkins you can use it with your fasting plan on losing weight. because what atkins actually does is the same thing that fasting does without the risk of potassium depletion (long fasts) or the body going to the lean musc. mass or organs for fuel. atkins burns pure fat only. that is why people lose even more
inches than pounds.
personally i need to lose some musc. so the
Water Fasting was ideal for that.
i am so excited. i think i found the perfect plan!
atkins - to continue fat loss
vegetarian - to prep for periodic detox
fast - to cleanse the system from any meat toxicity issues and take a few
pounds off too.
