Sores are definitely a symptom of detox. Your cleanse is working. Basically, it's caused by the change in pH (acidity). I swish acidophilus (liquid) around in my mouth (without swallowing when I'm fasting) for a few minutes several times per day, and they disappeared in about 2 days. It took about 80% of the discomfort away immediately.
