I had a coil fitted about 20years ago - don't know what type they were back then. After a while I began to have pains in my legs, palpitations and generally feeling unwell,spaced out, jittery and nervous. I brought this to the attention of my doctor as I was sure the coil was causing this. Of course I was told this would not be the case although another reason couldn't be found. I was spoken to as if I was imagining it all! I had it removed for my own peace of mind. I feel my body has always rejected 'foreign objects' - could never use tampons. And well, Amalgam fillings - looking back I feel they are what started my health issues in the first place. You are doing the right thing to get this out - listen to your instincts. Tweet
