hearing loss at the age of 25, please help

Hi,

I have been feeling that I miss some sounds for the pas 4 years. Now i recently had a scan and it showed the following

500 hz 20
1000Hz 25
2000Hz 40
4000Hz 85

i am very tense after this and I now feel that I cant hear much now. I used t listen to loud music regualrly in my school. I am 25 years old now. Dcotor said its a noise induced hearing loss. Can there be any other reason? Is my noise loss profound? would it vcause me to have difficulty in listening to people in normal speech? how can I make sure I dont lose it more with time?. Please help
