Re: Cat BROKE his Hip, Please advise.

It is a tough one. Cat doesn't seem to be in pain. He is walking on 3 legs, and dragging the broken one. X-rays show that hip bone that connects to the pelvis, is broken. And two other small bones that come out from there are also broken. Doctor said that if they to do surgery, they's cut off the tip of the hip bone, and apparently bone will grow a new tip... That's all they can do.
Doctor said that this is a worst place to break a hip on a animal, and even if they do surgery, cat will still have problems. So, I am going to call around and see if we can get a good deal on a surgery. LIke you suggested, I can check with a Vet school, maybe they can do a experimental sergery on this cat. Perhaps, someone can accept my Artwork or services in exchange for it.
