sesame swish/ bath experiences
I have had a history of allergies. I had a a dry left nostril which made breathing impossible and resulted in loss of sleep at night. At one point I lost sleep for one week straight and I could'nt bear it. I had been to a number of allergists and went through allergy tests/ all kinds of medications. Nothing helped, out of frustration I went for the surgery to correct the deviated septum- which was the only defect I had. The ENT had warned me this may or not work. But it did work me except that when the spring came i fnd out that my allergies were full blown and it turned out that I get sinus infections. I never had sinus problem before the surgery. on the surgery they removed some tissues from my left nostril. I got the flu in the start of spring and whenever I get in the path of dust/pollen.
Even after the surgery until about 6 months ago I used to get dryness in the nostril and was breathless. Accidently I found out one day eating raw carrots my dryness issue cleared about in 5 mins. I happened to notice this very accidently. I felt there was fresh saliva being generated and it was like I got a new life.
I did experience the same with apples. I googled around and realised maybe I had a possible Vitamin A/retinol deficiency(I may be wrong). So each time I ate carrots i experienced the dryness go away.
Now coming to Sesame oil, my wifes collegue suggested this about 4 months ago. She had allergies & got her allergies cured by swishing for abt 5 mins daily for about less than 3 months. This got me curious I googled again and fnd oil pulling.com and this forum. I got started on this. I'm believer for sure on Oil pulling.
I have been doing OP for 4 months now. My teeth are whiter than before. I have got
the flu once from dust since i started doing OP.
Twice self inflicted flu by applying the sesame oil to my head and showering later on, but i find that applying oil to my body doesn't cause any thing. I definitely feel positive about OP but for applying the oil to my head!!!
Just thought of putting my experiences here.
Any suggestions are welcome.
