Yes, was given a type of progesterone. It didn't really work. Taking the pill brought back my period. I felt just as lousy getting my period as when I didn't get it. That was many years ago and don't have a problem anymore getting my period. I was never told it would give me problems with my uterus not getting my period.

Personally, if I felt good not having a period, I would stick with that. The doctors almost never know why women don't get a period. Forcing it will not get at the cause of the problem.

Are you having any other health problems that could relate to your lack of menstruation?
