No. They are not looking for acceptance, they are looking for LEGAL equality. There are over 1,000 services offered to married couples that gay couples do no get through "unions". And just because you see it as "freaky" doesn't mean it should be illegal. Ok, if you just hate to use the word marriage, call it something else! All we're asking is that they recieve the same benefits that married couples do.
