Re: ok guys..
Hi Corrie, I’m back. Did you miss me? I missed you too Corrie.
Corrie you never cease to amaze me. You had the one opportunity to correct me on something I said and you failed to take advantage of it. On my last post I told you that I am from the old school, which should have given you a clue that I am an older person and subject to forget. No, I was not taught (as I stated) that energy can not be destroyed - my bad, it’s “MATTER” that can’t be destroyed. Corrie, you should have corrected me – your bad. Now, I don’t know if they still teach that or not, it might not be politically correct.
Now back to Pluto and the eggs.
Is Pluto a planet or is it not. I learned in
Science many, many moons ago that it was (then). I remember that. I recently learned from USA Today that yesterday's
Science was wrong and now it's not. Whatever it is I'm willing to bet you six bits to a bucket of spit that it's the same thing now as it was then. If
Science doesn't know what it is how do you expect me to know. Now Corrie (gee that's a lovely name) I know that you know. So, ‘Oh knowledgeable’ one please help me out on this one - which is it?
Now, Corrie, I didn’t say whose idea it was to change the status of Pluto. What I said was, “some scientist said, nope, it's only eight and Pluto is not one of them”. Are you telling me that everyone at the International Astronomical Union came up with the same idea at the same time? I’d rather believe it was one guy who took it up with the rest of the body and they agreed.
So much for that. Now to the eggs. Are they good for you or not. Was Science wrong at any time it was giving us misleading information?
