I really appreciated your comment and forgot to respond somehow. I made it through the third day saying what you wrote many times. So thank you.
Now that I am on my eighth day though, I am wondering how long it will take to break the emotional and psychological responses that I have had for half of my life...sixteen years of responding to stress a certain way. And I still feel the urge to respond that way when things have come up during the last eight days, but physically I am not longer addicted to caffeine, sugar, or high fat foods. Maybe it will take 21 days of responding differently? Hmmm...something to ponder.
