- I Received a Wonderful Message from My Meditation Yesterday
During a meditation yesterday, I received a wonderful message that I wanted to share. The intention for the meditation was to provide a message for our spiritual group which meets each week. The meditation started with a vision of a single leaf. It was beautiful with reds, yellows and oranges and the shape was unique and interesting. The other day I was sitting at my computer and had this urge to write. At first I just wrote whatever came to mind. Not sure of what the intent or point was, I allowed the words to appear before me. Once I immersed myself in the experience of writing, I began to put together a poem of sorts. Never having written a poem before, I found this to be very interesting. I realized the other day that it has been quite a while since I have written anything in this blog. I checked earlier tonight and it has actually been four months. Four months since my last message. This week I gathered once again with a group of friends who meet regularly to talk about spiritual subjects, meditate, work through some issues and express ourselves. Several weeks ago I was at a spiritual meeting that I attend once a week. We were guided to use an exercise that I thought was really interesting and effective. The exercise started with everyone writing down their most important question on an index card. Once this was done, each person in the room was asked to recall one of their favorite stories, nursery rhymes or books from childhood.
