Bikram Yoga Challenge begins today
Date: 4/6/2010 9:08:57 AM ( 14 y ) ... viewed 1234 times disaster continued from saturday night to last night. did a liver cleanse last night. weigh 145.2lb this afternoon.
This is so sad. Up 5.2lb in 3 days.
Evil advertisers, evil crap 'food' that is all around us.
Am back on track now. And i have upped it a notch. Beginning a 30-day Bikram Yoga Challenge in 1.5hrs. First class then.
Bikram yoga is brilliant, if very, very tough. it's done in a studio heated to 40 celsius. class goes on for 90 mins.
the challenge is being run by my local place, and consists of attending class for 30 days in a row. i can miss one day a week, providing i do a double class that same week to make up for it. it would be very difficult to do 2 classes in one day, in my opinion, so am gonna go every day - not miss one. at the end of the challenge, successful participants get a free micro-fibre towel, the exact size of our mats.
the bigger and better prize will be a renewed body, of course.
Lord, please help me with this.
I pray for all those trying to overcome the effects of the standard american diet (now standard in europe also, where i live).
What strength is needed! especially in social situations! (for a long time -- up til yesterday!!!!-- my downfall).
Angels, please help me and all others trying to clean and heal their bodies.
