Day 8: Changing to Juice Fast at dinner
Lemonade until dinner, then carrot/apple juice
Date: 3/30/2006 7:54:27 PM ( 18 y ) ... viewed 1623 times I haven't been so tempted to eat since I started this MC. I prepped and cooked (in a crockpot) a corned beef, red potato, carrot, onion and cabbage meal. The raw vegees were tempting this morning, and tonight I wanted to taste the cooked vegees. Even thought briefly of pureeing some vegees and straining for broth. But that is not what I am going to do at this point. Besides, they were cooked in meat broth!
But I originally planned to switch from MC to juice at some point, and I have been unable to make myself drink much lemonade. Perhaps because I just did a 10 day fast a few weeks ago? So, I had lemonade today (2 total) and just made a carrot/green apple juice. I diluted it half/half with water. It was delicious! And I'm not craving the cooked food anymore.
I had no energy today, so I hope the change to juice will help some. I'm sure part of the weakness was from not drinking enough lemonade, but I couldn't make myself swallow anymore. I didn't even feel like having a 1/2 tsp of syrup for strength.
My weight will still drop, although maybe a bit slower, and I'll probably still have several lemonades per day (they are so easy to make!) No exercise today, other than the general up and down the stairs and cleaning house.
