It is amazing but during those days without television, all the nighborhood children were led by my children. My children convinced every child in the neighborhood to actually go outside to play or if they were inside make up stories and skits.....acted like children...but televisions always seem to find a way back into my home. I don't watch the junk but my family becomes consumed by it...little by little. Television is a wedge that separates us from our humanity. I was considered an ogre for throwing out the television but I have not always been successful. There are two televisions in my house today.
95% of people are cattle who just do what men in high places tell them to do. These men are clever and market test every thing they expose us to for control over our bodies and minds. If those men in high places cared about us, they would not stuff toxic chemicals in our food to fatten us up and poison us with toxic drugs and call it medicine. If men in high places cared about us, these men wouldn't fill our children with images of murder without consequences... glorify war without showing the dire cost of the death to innocents. If those that control the media cared about us, television might have a place in one's home but they do not. The men who control the media want to make us fat to make room for a thousand chemically preserved foods and make a thousand millionaires even more wealthy; the men who control the media want to pump us full of deadly vaccinations and give every man, woman, and child a daily dose of medication because the men who control the media are controlled by the same men who own the the drug companies. The men who control the media are controlled by the war machine that puts a violent vido game in the hands of every child. When it is all through, the television is a huge control mechanism that is designed to control you and me...and every man, woman, and child who has enough money to buy a tee vee...
The problem is... if one finds a way to unplug from the television, one has to fill one's day with other things. Finding those other things is what I do for me personally but for every person they must find their own way as well. If a parent or spouse can help their family find another way...go in a different direction...then little by little, one might find that they can slowly replace the men who control the media in their families lives...but it is an uphill battle. One I am losing today...but one I can not afford to lose forever...
