Earth Speaks: Hurricanes
Mother Earth tells us her Hurricanes are necessary in order for Her to cleanse. She chastises us that we do not "own" her but abide upon Her only with Her blessing. She reminds us that we as a species are here only temporarily, as we will not always exist in our bodily form.

Dear Holy Daughter. Know that you are loved. I have heard your prayers and those of others. My storms will abate with time yet I must "vent" for now and cleanse the region.
There has been much fouling of habitat in that area--my beautiful sands have become corrupt. They were never meant to house so many humans with the mindset/consciousness of "greed" and "corruption". They are places of natural beauty/wildness meant to be enjoyed by all, not just the "wealthy" humans who buy my "land" when there is no right to "buy" it. My body belongs to ME!
Humans may dwell upon me with my permission and my blessings, yet to own a "piece" or "parcel" of me is absurd! Think of it as "leasing" or "renting" in your human terms. Long after humans are no longer upon my flesh, your buildings will fall to dust and I will reclaim what is mine/my soul.
Oh, this will not be for millennia yet, and not in a cataclysm as some humans believe, but as I spoke to you before--humans will have "evolved" off of my flesh to a state of "Spirit-BEings" instead of "flesh-Spirit-BEings" and no longer live upon me.
A new "species" of sentient beings will arise upon me, kinder, more gentle, less demanding, than humans have been. This is not to say I do not love my human children, for I do, greatly, yet as in a family of many, there is always at least one to stir things up and be a challenge to the parent(s). Humans have been and are my challenge, and so you will remain, my beloved and troublesome ones!
Do not trouble yourself over the course of my storms. They will run their course and dissipate. What humans call "natural disaster" I call "cleansing". It is a matter of perspective.
Continue to send to me your love and light and blessing. Remember, as you heal yourself you are healing me, and as I heal myself I am healing you, the collective consciousness of humanity.
And so I go for now. Post this on your blog. Let others know you are one of my "mouths" upon the planet. Speak for me, so that others may hear.

"...even those who harm me by conscious or unconscious intention are not my enemies, no, there is no such thing as an 'enemy' that walks upon my flesh. Animals do not have this capacity to malign their Mother; they are not made by the Creator this way. Those of my human children who do so are misguided, they know not what they do, as my holy son Yeshua, blessed be he, said when he walked upon my flesh. And so, too... must you have compassion, not hatred or disdain for them. For none can truly harm me as over eons of time have I survived, and I will continue to abide and be home to many creatures long after humans have come and gone from my surface.
Yes, the species of humans will not live forever on my flesh in bodily form although there always will remain around me some in Spirit form to monitor and protect me, but most of the humans will in time 'evolve' out of their bodily states into their 'etheric states' and so will cease to be 'human' as we now know them. This will happen in much passage of time, how long I can not say, for time is such an elusive notion."

I asked the Great Mother to talk to me about Hurricane Katrina and the devastation that has been brought to the Gulf region of the United States. She answered that she is in the process of "shifting energies" in preparation for Her own spiritual evolution.
