Dropbox, attaching photo via email on Mac is not working

I have been attempting to get good results sharing a jpg to be downloaded. Repeated response that it is not working, so on to Dropbox. I am just getting familiar with how this valuable program works. Then I found this really good videos from Mike Weiger. Thanks, Mike! Good Job!
