Day 3 - Grapefruit Zing!
3rd day of the winter fast
Date: 7/23/2016 2:52:23 AM ( 10 y ) ... viewed 626 times Mmmmmm grapefruit! Today has been fruity friday on a saturday -- well it's friday in the northern hemisphere anyway.... Woke up to good dreams & didn't sleep too late, really chilly one today, freezing in the house, the temp dropped heaps overnight but I'm not feeling it any more than usual on day 3 of my liquid fast which is good - it wd be cold anyway!
Juiced up a glass of rockmelon, yam, carrot and cinnamon for breakfast, cup of tea, then a watermelon red cabbage juice - and at the same time I blended up an extra one for the fridge and then juiced one grapefruit (a very tart one I got from our local op shop) which made abt a half cup of juice, to this I added some of the warm water I rinsed the juicer with, and a teaspoon of activated coconut charcoal - and am adding 1/4 cups of that to glasses of soda water for a really nice refreshing detox drink
Feeling good today, a bit nervous to do yoga straight up in this cold - I've hurt myself before doing it in a cold room, so I think a hot bath or shower and sauna first and a bit of warm up exercises before stretching and twisting might be the go - the sun's just gone down for he night & I'm real happy with how I'm just cruising into this fast -- was thinking about bushwalking today but there were crazy winds this morning and I didn't want a tree branch to fall on me... maybe tomorrow - need to get back into the long bushwalks - today did get taken over by computer work, I had to sort out publishing software for books we are printing and did, that was good, there's still steps to go there but signing off - enough of that for one day... Being productive tho :)
Ah well, might run that bath and wind into some body work :)
