This is my second attempt to write this morning
On an antiquated computer with a dial up AOL
that is often incredibly slow or dysfunctional.
I am grateful for the small things this A.M.
Thursday April 28, 05 at Niece Eva’s.
Through the bars of all the windows
There is a nice air flow. Even the bathroom
Has a window to let the fumes out.
What a amazement of techology
In an age of stink and designing bathrooms
Without fresh air.
Wow! I can even do a SAVE here

There is a possibility that what I say here
Will actually go on my Blog.
There is a possibility that someone beside me
Will be hearing what this day is like.
My father lives across town.
I told him I would be there at 10.
I just called to say I will be an hour late.
He lives in the Fairfax area,
Within walking distance of the High School
Where I graduated. He lives around the corner
From the Silent Movie House
Where on Friday nights I would escape my
Childhood loneliness and met Charlie Chaplin.
I discovered Rudolf Valentino here
And also a film called the Iron Mask
Where a man was placed in this steel mask
And hidden away while someone else,
An imposter, lived out his life.
I so want to live my live fully,
And so I continue this journey to unravel
My past and pick up the pieces.
I no longer want to live with an unconscious
M.O. of raging childhood trauma.
I have been making incredible progress in the last month.
I picked up the pieces on events 40 years ago
When I went to my High School ReUnion.
Today is the day that I have designated tp visit my Father.
I have not seen him for at least one year
or longer.
I am a bit uneasy.
I better get over there.
If his work calls, I am sure rather than say
He has a date with his son, he will
Put them first. They will pick him up and he
Will go sit with the dead, a ritual practice among
The Orthodox Jews.
Sitting with the dead or praying for the dead
Had taken precidence over being with his son
My entire life.
My inner child is feeling very upset by this...
and I an adult now...am going to clear this energy
with my father.
