Hello,
I'm not ignorant to the lack of adequacy of proposed medical treatments that Doctors/CDC, etc give for filiary worms, but I looked at a site that another poster posted, that listed the different types of filiary worms. My issues are strongly shown in the skin. I've had lesions everywhere with most signs of morgellons.
However, I'm expanding my thoughts to think the bundled red and black fibers could be filiary worms. i've searched and searched and this really seems it may be the worm. I could understand the researchers saying they can't identify things they've never seen afterall, they don't exist here ;-)

Interestingly and not suprisingly, it is supposedly only in Africa. I believe Docs and the CDC are way behind in knowing that many of the worms are HERE, therefore, they are unable to detect, recognize, identify, or even know how to test for it, let alone treat it. THEREFORE, it doesn't exist, our symptoms are from scratching, dermatitist, nerves, whatever.
I started ivermectin and doxycycline 5 nights ago and the first morning afterwards I had SEVERE itching and swelling of lesions and more lesions. Brain fog, fibers coming out of skin (not alot though).....tiny black threads out of pores (i believe to be this worm), chills, tired, weak.......and i'm also having good days but not the usual energy which I'm used to having. AND I've only had this for 1 1/2 months after a carribean trip to Norwegian Cruise Lines private island. I had received bites on my hips there (didn't use repellant...typically never use deet....i will now!)
I am getting better, but still have piercings come out or into the skin (however they do their thing)...but at a very slower rate. I was covered with lesions all over my back, shoulders, neck, arms, and moved to cover my stomach and chest.
Now, I'm doing soo soo much better already! The first several days of treatment were hard.... I think my immunity was down before the infection with alot of stress at home ....which caused a quick infiltration of these buggers.
Anyhow:
According to the med reports DEC may be curative for this filiary worm because it kills both the filiary and the adult. What is assinine is that the report also says an optional medical protocol is ONE dosage of ivermectin (even though it isn't curative and only kills some microfiliary). As usual, the drug protocols are usually inadequate. You really have to read all parts of the studies. It seems they really don't mind not curing most of these poor people...they only want to test, do trials, experiments. Well.......its here now. When will they wake up and realize it could be them next? however, I do feel for some of the Doctors. They aren't allowed to practice medicine. They are goverened by the almighty AMA .

So.......I hope this may help some people. I'm going to order some DEC and try it.
Also, if anyone has tried DEC please feel free to tell me/us your experience with it and anything you may know about it.
My treatment so far for myself has been:
Ivermectin and doxycyline (albendazole coming this week)(according to ICU's protocol)
Ivermectin in clear aloe vera gel (bought from store). This immensely has helped me the last 2 days to clear up lesions that have refused to clear/heal/become inactive. I put this all over my body, without side effects.
I also put some ivermectin in shampoo.
Diaper rash ointment with zinc (good stuff)
Sprays with benzoyl alcohol-kills lice so I figure it can kill other stuff too.
All sorts of camphor/menthol, etc.....creams...all good
I have no problems vaginally, but some may want to try prescription grade Boric Acid put into a vegetarian capsule and insert VAGINALLY ONLY>>>DO NOT TAKE INTERNALLLY. I found this treatment online for resistant vaginal yeast infections and other vaginal problems. I don't know if it'd kill worms or not, but it may keep them from going there. I've used this treatment (for yeast)with no problems whatsoever.
Great progress has been made this last week. I'm very encouraged. However, I strongly want to try the DEC. If anyone has any DEC tips, please reply! I'm still learning, yet am very excited with my progress!
Good luck everyone
