Yea I know what you mean. I don't debate the Amalgam issue much. The only way someone takes the ADA's view on Amalgams is if they haven't done the research themselves, or they need an authority figure like the ADA to tell them what to do in life, so either way I don't really fit into the picture... other than to tell them to research the facts and decide for themselves.
I try to help others (I wish someone had told me or better yet my parents about amalgams) but some don't really want help, they want reinforcement for their concrete conclusion. To me that's not seeking true support, that's seeking a cheerleader. I'm not jumping around for anybody.
