I, too, am planning to have my Amalgams removed. It is a very costly venture for me as I have a mouth full of silver. I feel my old filling was probably cracked and the oil pulling just helped the process along - that and an almond I was munching on. Probably a good thing as I now am biting the bullet and having my first quadrant replaced this fall. I plan to continue oil pulling, even with the broken tooth and filling. I have no pain and hope the swishing is helping rid my system of toxins. Plus my teeth just feel so nice and clean, I don't want to quit now. If the rest of the old filling fall apart, so be it.
