I know that UC sufferers can get Arthritis symptoms, I did myself when I was at my worst, the hip joint pain was sometimes unbearable, I wasn't sure how much this was due to withdrawel from prednisone though it lasted a long time after, over a year sporadically, also some low back pain always persisted, Inflammations can happen all over the body with UC
