LoricaLady did get rid of pins simply by using Noxzema for 2 weeks, so, perhaps it is possible. IF I don't keep reinfecting myself and am able to stop them from laying eggs, there is a bit of a chance that topical treatment could get rid of them.
I also believe, from reading other posts, that pins may have evolved into a much more difficult species to eradicate.
But, as I said, the pins have taken a back seat to the more pressing problem of the possibility of
parasites in the brain. At this point, I'm just trying to get some relief from their constant harassment.
Got 2 bottles of sheep dip, DMSO and more Iver paste. Of course, I forgot to get a measuring syringe but that should be easy to get. Walmart didn't have even one microscope, so I'll have to order online. I did pick up a camera and will post a few shots later.
