As a long time ozone therapist, also a user and maker of ozonated olive oil, I have to tell you that what you smell when you enter the storage room is ozone coming off the ozonized olive oil.
All you have to do is sniff the jar to know -- offgassing of ozone points to ozone content, and the ozonized portion is ozone joined to an oil molecule and thus has no smell as long as it remains joined.
