Re: I need to vent.

Now that you have looked at it in black and white does it seem accurate? Did it help to vent?

I have also been where you are, and for as long seeing no hope. I needed - help from the skeptical, herbs, supplements, and new diet I could not afford, but mostly needed a reason to get up at all. Then my cat died in the middle of it and I lost my mind!

Some things need to be lost and my thinking was part of where the problem started. We are not machines, and do ourselves great disservice when we ignore what our bodies are telling us. It may seem inane to hear that "It is all going to be okay", but really it is.

I cannot go back to where I was before I became ill, nor do I wish to today. This has been a journey, not an event. The mind needs to change in regard to all we have been conditioned to believe about the immediacy of things. There is no magic pill to fix it. There are many helpful ideas, but nothing works when the mind does not change. When I began to stop focusing on how sick I was I began to get a little more well each day. When I got up and dressed for the day with anticipation of joy instead of being unwilling to participate in life, life got better.

You have in your rant some things I will point to for you, since you are unable to see clearly today.

A home
A car
A husband
A mother
A bed
A cat
A choice in wardrobe
A friend or two
A longer list than I am aware of so I will let you add to it from here...............
and it really is going to be okay as soon as you are willing for it to be.
