I totally agree with you, Daniel. When we use these products our bodies "forget" how to produce the oils and sebum that we were naturally designed to make. The human body is perfectly capable of moisturizing itself if we just let it. Let's face it, we buy and use these products because we are led to believe that we actually need them to stay healthy, and besides, they smell good, and temporarilly make us look good. But since I have stopped using lotion, and body oil, and especiall lip balm, my body is LESS dry than it was.
Just a side note: fruit is great, but it is high is Sugar and blood Sugar imbalances are hugely hazardous to the body. Vegetables, however, are so packed full of nutrients and fiber, I usually eat way more veggies than fruit. Red peppers and broccoli, for example, are higher in vitamin c than oranges.
For deodorant, I make a mixture of whitchazel and tea tree oil and put it in a little spray bottle. It smells awful temporarily, but it works to keep the bacteria at bay. Use it at night and in the morning you will have no odor.
