This doesn't sound like a liver problem.

If you are truly allergic to garlic then this can cause an internal inflammation which can last for some time; many weeks. You can attempt to recover more quickly by eating sensibly. Also avoid spicy rich foods, caffeine, chocolate and alcohol.
