So isn't doing like a coffee enema just as effective?

I have never done a coffee enema so I can't say.

I have done colonics, both types, and I prefer the closed system for all the reasons mentioned in the link I posted. There wasn't anything but filtered water used, so the coffee must have some importance other than clearing the colon.
