Sounds like your body is tolerating the higher doses. To answer your question When I got to 1GM I doubled it after about one week then when went to 4GM just doubled the 2 after another week or so without any OMGs. YMMV from what have read depending on what toxins your holding and their load level in your body. Got good results when split the 4Gms into divided doses throughout the day but could only do that for about 2 weeks due to insomnia.
