I agree. SES were my buddies from 1990, Chris and Robert. The raw product contains what you said, is typically about 87% C60, 10% C70 and the remainder being other molecules, including mostly polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH's). Many PAH's are well-known carcinogens, easy to look up and verify. If I were suicidal and wanted to die slowly and painfully, I might consider ingesting it.
Purification is via column chromatography using toluene as mobile phase on silica. We used to send each other samples we made, those two started in a garage, I was in a basement. I still have some of their original material !! My process was better but I didn't pursue it, had other irons in the fire. SES stands for "soot extract sixty".
