Hook?
Please use IVM on and around the eyes ASAP and long term. I used Durvet from TSC.
The clue that it may be a white worm, (Hook) is the reaction to DEC. Reactions to other meds in the white worm family of meds confirms this idea.
Do not attempt to kill the worm, until it is out of the eye area. Worms have memory and keep a territory for themselves. you must kill each member of the family before you attempt to cure the infection, lest they go back to the eye to die. This can be done in 3 months or so. Very low doses of meds during this time. Remember the half life of most white worm meds is only 3-4 hours. Qtip inside the nose too, with IVM. IVM externally can use up to a standard dose, even while you are doing it internally. Keep total doses per day under 2 - 3 STD doses per day.
Oregano oil on cheek bones, brow bone, maybe even the nose, will kill bacteria in the area.
If the eyes tear, this is a microfilarial, associated with a worm that has a microfilarial stage. These require pyrantel paste and thymol crystals to clear the area.
Only IVM is safe on the eye, keep other meds away from the eye.
I sent you a PM. Please reply to it.
