Re: Is there even ONE...
Thank you for your response and information.
I have not had time to check out the link you posted, but if you say it says the man went for a full ten days without water, then he must have.
And I do understand the concept of prahna, and taking nutrition from the air we breathe. That's an "easy" one. We already know our body converts sunlight to Vitamin D.
However, people in emergency/crises situations have shown many times that the body can do without water for even 5-6 days, so I obviously can't logically accept that breatharianism is a viable alternative to food & water, just because one person in the whole world's population was able to "go the distance" for a few more days. Heck, people can lower their heart rate/metabolism and virtually go totally into 'hibernation' for several days, so it's entirely possible that one dedicated individual (whose income & ego depends upon him succeeding) could go for 10 days, one time, without fluids.
Hmmm, ten whole days. That's certainly a helluva long stretch from TRUE breatharianism, dontcha think?
I'm not "for" or "against" breatharianism...IF it's even possible at all. (methinks before one can be 'for or against' anything, there has to proof of the 'anything', eh?). And one person in the history of the world going for 10 days without water one time is hardly enough evidence to convince a discerning mind it's 'anything'.
I really appreciate you taking the time to post the link and reply. If you will be so kind, I'd like to ask another question:
What is the reason/purpose/usefulness of breatharianism? ...to prove it can be done? for some type of healing? to put one more in touch with the ethereal world? something else?
'Anyone else with solid evidence and/or responses?
