Re: Red in baby's stool

Hi Sofia!

Thank you! I do let me son get some sun on his skin but I'm still afraid of him burning. He is light skinned also with blue eyes. So far he's done ok with the amount we are out there. His pool blew away in a storm we had on Monday so I have to get him a new one! The sunscreen I did buy for him is natural and made by Aubrey Organics which I'll only use if we'll be in the sun a lot. Do you think some young children don't get burned because they are eating nutritiously? I think I remember reading about that somewhere, Mercola perhaps.

I hope my son isn't allergic or gluten intolerant. His stool culture came back normal for parasites and pathogens. I'm starting him off slowly on foods again. I'm not going to give him any grains just veggies and fruit. We did try rice cereal initially but he never liked it. I tried the oatmeal because I thought maybe it was the taste. Carrots and apricots sounds yummy! And I was thinking that maybe giving him some homemade veggie broth would do him good. I'm glad to still be nursing; at least I know he's getting good nutrition that way.

Thanks again!

Nicole
