Since you seem to be so well versed....what is the cure for alcoholism? Many alcoholics would LOVE to know !!! I am one of them that would love to hear what you have to say about it. I have not have a drink in over 11 years. I got sober in AA. It works if you work it. I was not scared of AA. I was scared that I would never be able to stop drinking.

I do not understand why you have a peeve with AA. Millions of people that were not able to get sober and stay sober WERE able to do so in AA. Please clarify. I really want to understand why you feel this way. AA is certainly better than being in the nut house, jail, or being dead. Those are the three places that alcoholics end up if they continue to drink.

The Science that AA uses is....don't drink, One Day At A Time. Go to meetings. Get a sponsor. Work the steps. Help other alcoholics. Do service work. Keep it simple.

The theory that alcoholism continues it totally true. If you do not believe this, go to a few meeting and listen....you will hear stories of how people with many years of sobriety decided to test the waters and went out and drank. Some of the people did NOT make it back to AA. They made it to the morgue.
