Hepatitis is an auto immune disease. It can affect
everyone differently. Hair loss, joint pain, itchy skin,
ect.

Hormone deficiency can also cause hair loss. I'm not
an MD, but she could get a saliva test to see how
her hormones are doing.

Diet, stress are another reasons. She should see a natruopath.
They are more comprehensive than MD's for many issues.
They would know best and order the proper blood
work to find out.
