Re: 10 year old son
Midge,
1. + 3. Bedwetting and slower than normal development often go hand in hand. Slower development of the central nervous reduces the child's ability to stop the bladder from emptying at night. Hormonal factors (not enough antidiuretic hormone) can also play a role. In case the bladder is not developing as fast as normal, the child cannot hold hold urine for a long time because of the smaller bladder. Although bedwetting is not caused by drinking too much too much before bedtime, it is best to avoid drinking anything after 6-7 p.m. Also, the child should avoid drinking anything that contains caffeine and acts as a diuretic, including soft drinks, choccholate, coffee. etc. Allergies can also affect the child development and cause such complications. It is almost natural to develop allergies to cows milk and eggs, given the foreign DNA and natural imcompatibility between the body and these foods. Unless fermented, soy contains two toxic enzyme inhibitors that prevent the soy protein from being digested. It is therefore quite normal to develop an immune response to these toxic compounts and the undigestible proteins.
A balanced, nourishing vegetarian diet would be beneficial for the development of the the child's central nervous system (see also Timeless Secrets of Health & Rejuvenation,
