Re: eyelid dermatitis

Aunty:
Thank you so very much for your detailed message. I will go to Whole Foods today to pick up the Borage Oil lotion. Your knowledge and information is right on the money and I have pretty much come to the same conclusion in terms of foreign allergens and foods. I always wash my clothes with non scented detergent and sparingly so. Sugar makes the eczema worse and other types of junk foods like Cheetos and anything too salty and spicy. I am eliminating dairy also. Too many citrus fruits also ups the breakouts. I have been juicing vegetable juice pretty regularly as I have heard this can help.
Unfortunately none of the doctors I have been to have suggested anything else apart from moisturizing and the cortisone creams. Today I will be seeing a Chinese acupunturist to treat the eczema and asthma which I have been having on and off since childhood also.
Once again thank you for your encouragement. I have wasted too much time being depressed about that little area on my eyelid and the positive affirmation helps in my fight against future outbreaks.
