Hi,

Use a zapper. 15-30 seconds. They're gone. You'll notice the difference the next day. Do it again in about a week to fill the hatchlings. Just hold the cat's paws in your hands with the zapper handles. My daughter's cat had no problem with the paw holding or the water. He just got tired of sitting there after about 15 seconds.
