Dear Cultivating Food Justice Allies and Friends,
I am deeply involved now in building up energy to Win Back Our Sacred Seeds. I am referring to the takeover of our Seed Supplies that are now in the hands of a few Multi-national Corporations promoting GMO Technology.
We know the Future of Food Freedom we want involves local sustainable Food Growing, helping others gain confidence that they can grow some of their own food,
and learning to work together as one grassroots movement.
San Diego is at the forefront of demonstrating what is possible.
I would like to go up to the National Heirloom Expo, leaving San Diego September 1 and arriving at the National Heirloom Expo where I would teach and do ceremony work.
This journey will be possible with financial contributions and your good will in seeing
why I want to take this journey.
The upcoming meeting July 6 points out the deep need for us as a community to come together. The lead corporations who are now in Secret negotiations to bring advance a
Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement (TPPA) was brought to our attention by Nic-Paget-Clarke at our meeting June 19, 2012.
BIO and Big Pharma, and a handful of people in the world who imagine a corporate run future for us are coming to San Diego July 2-10.
Our gathering July 6 is our opportunity to present a different Food Future.
I will be there talking about the California Right to Know Label GMO Foods ballot Initiative that now needs thousands of us to support.
Toward this end I have started a petition "7.5 Million + 2" who are committing now
to make sure we have the Grassroots movement that we need to win this November 6.
I need support now--a showing of support--to take the next leg of the journey
to Win Back Our Sacred Seeds. Any form of encouragement--or financial help in any amount is appreciated now. Volunteers to help an hour or two of gardening here at the Enchanted Garden Intentional Community would be as equally supportive.
